Up for this year's NewNowNext Awards for "Brink of Fame: Actor" is True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard. The award celebrates "emerging talent and what's about to bust-out in pop culture; aka the NewNowNext Awards!" The website, newnownext.com, wants our votes to help determine the 2010 award winner so go to the link here. In addition to voting on the website, you can also tweet your vote! Winners will be announced on June 17th on LogoTV.com. (Following the True Blood Season 3 debut on June 13th.) The awards and website, run by Logo, the world's leading "digital entertainment gay and lesbian-themed network, from MTV Networks", states that "Our debut show boasted the first-ever TV performance of the now-legendary Lady Gaga" and "Last year RuPaul hosted, True Blood was honored as "THE show to watch". By the way, you did see Alex in Lady Gaga's Paparazzi music video, right? One of Alexander's rivals for the NNN award is fellow "vampire" Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries).
